This is an installation created for the “Windows Project” in Santa Fe, NM. The site was an exterior window at a paper store. The primary materials are paper clips (a total of 2,210) and a paper wasps nest.
Light/Shadow/Glass
These light/glass installations, begun in 1982, have been commissioned for many sites in the US and Europe. The finished piece is always dependent on the specific site. The light source, whether ambient or artificial, is crucial to the work . The glass shape and size vary with the composition. These works have been very large – 12′ x 20′, or small – 2″ x 16″.
